David Mercer is the company's senior partner, with over 30 years experience in real estate development and property management and 10 years of law experience. He holds a B. A. degree from The Citadel and a Juris Doctor degree from Mercer University.

He is a licensed Georgia real estate broker and a CCIM designee with the National Board of Realtors. A former Realtor of the Year, David received the first Phoenix award presented by the Hall County Board of Realtors.

David was appointed by former Governor Jimmy Carter as an original board member to the Georiga World Congress Center Authority and as a board member of the State Board of Industry and Trade. He also served as President of the Dublin Judicial Circuit Bar Association.

As a developer, David initiated and served as the managing partner for over $200,000,000 in total development, including industrial, retail, office, residential and hotel developments within the southeastern United States.

His current focus with The Mercer Company centers around real estate investment activities including land acquisition, development, construction supervision, and management activities with a strong penchant for banking and partner relations.

Brett Mercer, a partner in the company, is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a B.B.A. in finance and currently serves as the President of the Mercer Company.  He is a Georgia licensed realtor and is pursuing his CCIM designation.  Brett has 16 years experience in hospitality management.

He has served as an associate director of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, was on the board of the Gainesville Hall Convention and Visitors Bureau, the board of the Northeast Georgia Medical Center Foundation and is a graduate of Leadership Hall County.

With fifteen years in hospitality sales, marketing and operations at the executive level, Brad’s experience provides the basis for formulating and executing precisely targeted, integrated marketing plans and strategies. Mr. Rahinsky works closely with industry leaders to exceed marketing and sales goals, facilitating alternative solutions as well as providing fresh insights into distribution channel marketing, direct marketing, advertising, e-marketing, and public relations. His operation background in upper-upscale full service and luxury properties provides the foundation for Performance Hospitality Group’s industry leading guest service “high-touch” approach and philosophy.

As Marketing Director for resorts such as the Chateau Élan Resort and Spa and The Wyndham Emerald Plaza Resort, Mr. Rahinsky developed a reputation for maximizing top-line revenue and performance while carefully managing budgets. He has managed hotels ranging in size from 100 to 750+ rooms with meeting space in excess of 80,000 square feet. Additionally, Mr. Rahinsky has provided consulting services for hotels and resorts throughout the North America and Europe.

An expert in top-line analysis and yield/revenue management, Brad has anylized and consulted for hundreds of properties throughout the world in helping them to realize their revenue potential.  A graduate of the University of West Florida, Mr. Rahinsky earned a BA in Communication Arts with an emphasis in Public Relations.

As President of Performance Hospitality Group, Parker’s scope of responsibility includes a focus on acquisitions and development, as well as oversight for PHG’s growing portfolio of Hyatt and Hilton properties.   Additionally Parker is liaison to PHG financial partners and investors, and serves on the Hyatt Place Franchise Advisory Council.

Parker’s career includes more than more than 20 years in the investment services and hospitality industries including 10+ years as Head of Operations for EWI, a global financial analysis and market research firm.  

As VP of The Mercer Company, Ben serves as partner in research and acquisition of residential, commercial and condominium development opportunities, with an emphasis in the hospitality arena.

Ben has a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Georgia in Applied Economics.

He also has recently been appointed to the Hyatt Hotel Advisory Board.

Her ability to simplify, streamline and complete complex tasks and implement proven accounting standards and procedures at the corporate and property level has enabled PHG’s six (6) owned hotels to operate both effectively and efficiently while maximizing profits.
